This more than 1.5 km long street has up to 3 curved sections, of which the most curved section is the end point adjacent to the Left Bank dike.
With a large investment, each meter of road costs more than 660 million VND, public opinion compares the street to a "golden curve".
The cross section of the street is 40 m, each side has 3 lanes.
To build this street, Hanoi cleared 470 agencies and houses, and resettled more than 100 families. The project once encountered difficulties because some households believed that the 200-meter section of the route through groups 14 and 15 Lam Du, Bo De ward was "bent" causing hundreds of billions of dong in site clearance money to be wasted. Hanoi City later affirmed that the implementation of the project is in accordance with the planning and red line boundaries approved by competent authorities.
Chairman of Long Bien District People's Committee Do Manh Hai explained that the entire route has curved sections to ensure technical and national security factors. As for the 200 meter section, people say the curve is a straight line and was not corrected during the project planning process.
The median strip is about 2 m wide and has a system of lighting poles.
The route is synchronously invested in technical infrastructure, water supply and drainage, lighting, trees, and undergrounding of all power lines and telecommunications cables.
A section of sidewalk collapsed with an area of more than one square meter, causing the tiles to break.
The street has just been inaugurated, many houses with facades of different colors are growing close together.
